The Skate Canada International is an international, senior-level invitation-only figure skating competition. It is part of the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Medals are awarded in four disciplines: men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dancing. The 2007 competition was held at the Colisée Pepsi in Quebec City, Quebec from November 1 through 4. The compulsory dance for the ice dance competition was the Yankee Polka. ==Notes== * Silver medalist Yukari Nakano landed a triple axel in her free skate. * Melissa Gregory / Denis Petukhov were forced to withdraw before the free dance when he lost his footing and dropped her on her chest during a one-handed rotational lift during the six-minute warmup, and skidded into the boards himself.
